Cumbrian Lakes - Our Accommodation
ARRIVING Turn into Winding Cypress Court from Cumbrian Lakes Drive and our house faces you at the end of the cul-de-sac.
ENTERING Step through the double doors into the entrance hall with a wide staircase rising to the upper floor gallery and, on the left, is our sitting room and dining area. Along the entrance hall you will find a spacious, double height, lounge and patio doors leading to the lanai and pool/spa. Alongside the lounge is a traditional American open kitchen together with a second dining arealbreakfast room.
BEDROOMS Two of our bedrooms are downstairs with a shared bathroom. The one which opens to the poolside has a Queen bed whilst the other has twin beds. The other three bedrooms are on the upper floor. Two of them, a Queen double and a twin, share a bathroom whilst the master bedroom has its own bathroom and dressing area featuring a bath, large shower, two wash basins, two walk-in wardrobes and a separate toilet.
ENTERTAINMENT Our gallery/landing has a kids den area with its own T.V, a dvd player and Playstation 2 to help keep the family entertained when everyone needs a relaxing day at home. Of course there is plenty of other relaxation and entertainment in our home because we have a games room downstairs and every room in the house has a cable T.V point as well as dvd or video players here and there. Of course the real place to relax is in the pool or in the spa. Both of these can be heated if you want it for a small charge through we find most people don't bother in the summer. There is even a half bathroom by the poolside and an outdoor shower so you really only have to come into the house to top up your drinks.
FACILITIES Finally, all this fun creates dirty clothes but the washer and dryer will get things clean again with minimum effort. After all, you are here to enjoy yourself. And if you really feel lazy, ask us to organise a cleaning service during your stay at competitive rates. Our agents are close to hand so any problems or help are just to hand. There is a handbook in the house with lots of useful information about shopping, restaurants and attraction tickets.
